Christian Complacency

The Judgment Of The Lukewarm Believer

Speaking directly to his Disciples, Jesus said

And the disciples came and said to Him, Why do You speak to them in parables?
He answered and said to them, Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.  For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.
Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand.  And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says:

'Hearing you will hear and shall not understand, and seeing you will see and not perceive; For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, so that I should heal them.' But blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear; for assuredly, I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.
(Matt 13:10-17 NKJ)

Because Christians have betrayed Christ -- and made a covenant with the god of this world, the Laws that inhibit the Pharisees, blinds the Christian world today.   And this blindness is easily demonstrated and proven in the below!!!

Jesus Came To Call Those Who Would Follow In TheWay

But Few Are Willing To Make The Journey

He Warned That While Many Are Called, Few Are Chosen

And These Words Would Never Have Been Said

If All That Was Required Was To Call Upon The Name

While Continuing To Live In The Way of This World

While The Teachings Of Yeshua/Jesus Are The Truth

The Way Of The Churches Bring Spiritual Death

Because They Share A Common Doctrinal Flaw

Liberal And Conservative Churches

Are Merely Opposite Polarities Of The Same Flaw

It is not a sin to have been misled by the god of this world

Jesus warned that even the elect would be seduced

It is only a sin not to seek Truth, when it has been presented to you

There Is No Biblical Basis For Modern Christian Church Doctrine

Using The Bible, It Can Be Demonstrated Conclusively, That The Modern Christian Church Has Been Turned Out Of TheWay

It's Right There In The Bible

Demonstrated Conclusively

The Flawed Doctrine Of Perpetual Redemption: When the leaders of one Church oppose the leaders of another Church, the equation is not truth opposing error -- but rather, in most instances it is as one variety of error opposing another variety of error.   Why?   Church doctrine had become strongly influenced and defined by carnal believers who were converted in name only, from the paganism of Rome by the Emperor Constantine.   In the same way that the Pharisees sacrificed animals for their sin, the pagan Christians used Jesus as a sacrifice for their sins.   And in the same way that Jesus condemned all animal sacrifice -- stating that he was the sacrifice for the sins of the faithful flock -- the pagans of Rome who called themselves Christian, turned Jesus into a perpetual sacrifice for lives lived in sin, immorality and often spiritual depravity.   Yet, the Bible itself condemns this doctrine -- portraying it as an abomination and denial of the Lord.   Yet, in the same way that nothing that Jesus said influenced the leaders of the Pharisees to re-evaluate their manmade doctrines and traditions -- and in the opening of their hearts and minds be able to see and perceive the Truth and TheWay -- neither is there anything that can be said to the majority of Church leaders today that would free them from their doctrines of belief, the source of which is Pagan Rome.

Thus, Jesus taught that his followers had to keep the Commandments and the Law in a spiritual manner -- rather then the carnal manner of the Pharisees -- and they had to be more righteous: "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.  For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.  Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.  For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven" (Matt 5:17-20 KJV).   To the man who was healed by Jesus he warned: "Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee." (John 5:14 KJV).  And once again this same reality is portrayed in the words of Paul: "But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid. For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor." (Gal 2:17-18 KJV).

Sin, is the outward effect of the spiritual sickness that Jesus came to cure.   The disciple who was healed of this congenital sickness that plagues the carnal people of this world -- by virtue of the blood of the Lamb -- was granted the Power to be healed from this sickness.   But the heathen mindset of the Gentiles caused them to reject the Good News -- which caused them to condemn and reject the whole concept of living a Consecrated Life in TheWay as Jesus taught -- and the Church has made a mockery of the Lord by using the New Covenant as a license to live in perpetual sin -- making Jesus a pagan sacrifice of abomination.   As the Gospel became corrupted by the pagans who called themselves Christian, the degeneracy of the Church was opposed by men such as
Pelagius who wrote that: “Man is able, if he likes, to live without sin and keep the commandments of God, in as much as God gives him this ability”.   It is important to recognize that Pelagius did not say that man has this inherent ability -- but rather, God grants him this ability -- but this ability can only be bestowed upon those disciples who are truly faithful to the very spiritual essence of the teachings of Jesus and TheWay.   Pelagius vehemently opposed the corruption of the clergy and priests of the Roman Church -- and this statement was written against the dreadful moral standards of the church which had thoroughly embraced the doctrine of St. Augustine that all events of life was totally controlled by Divine Providence -- and it made no difference if man committed sin, because he did not possess freewill.   Under the doctrine of predestination promoted by Augustine, man could do nothing on his own -- and whether he was saved or not, was predestined from before the world was created.   This doctrine was of course used by the Roman Church because it conveniently established the Church in the role of the singular determining factor in man’s search for salvation.   Being a member of the church was the only qualifier that saved mankind -- and since man by Augustine's reasoning was a mere pawn that lacked freewill -- morally challenged because of the Original Sin of Adam and Eve -- Augustine promoted the position that it did not matter how defiled or sinful a life he lived.   From a doctrinal perspective, all of mankind was morally challenged -- man could do nothing on his own -- and since no deeds either good or bad could save him -- it was doctrinally reasoned that mankind could therefore live in accordance with any moral standard he desired, so long as he lived under the protective umbrella of the Roman Church.     To reject the authority of the Church, was to reject the only path of salvation, and thus was punishable by death under Roman and Church rule.

That Christians are in fact required to test what they believe is seen in the commandment of the Apostle to “prove and test all things” -- and it is the claim of the original teachings of Jesus that we have this ability to test and prove all things -- not by virtue of our own powers of carnal reasoning, but because God has given us the ability to carry out the commandment of the Apostle.   The very name Christian conveys a person who is of an Anointed and Illumined mind and understanding -- a state of mind that our modern-day faith-based doctrines represent only a very incomplete understanding of the true depth of the original Gospel message.

In the process of what is known as reverse osmosis, man has the power to purify contaminated water -- and he does so through the process of removing the impurities that became infused into the water as it flowes from its source to the point where he is able to receive it.   In the case of what Christians believe today, the filter that we use to purify what we have received is the living of a totally God-Centered Consecrated Life in TheWay -- and in becoming the "good ground" in the parable of the Sower and the Seed, the disciple gains direct knowledge and revelation -- and this enables the disciple to repell the venom of the serpent, and enter through the inner "narrow gate" -- emerging out of the "outer darkness" -- and dwelling in the Inner Kingdom, fulfilling the commandment to be in the world and not of it.   That this Divine Knowledge can only be received, and realized, when it is built upon the same foundation as that which was found at the waters source, is the process of Spiritual Reverse Osmosis that enables the genuine Disciple of TheWay who is totally faithful to the Commandments and the teachings of Jesus, to overcome the error of the world.

History easily demonstrates that under the rule of Roman Authority, the church fell into such carnal degeneracy that it embraced every sort of political and materialistic corruption -- a corruption that brought the level of the church so low, that it even ordained sexual orgies for the priests.   To further “illustrate the condition and character of the times”, Gibbon writes in the Decline And Fall of the Roman Empire, that “Simony”, or the buying and selling of ecclesiastic positions within the church, “was not unknown in those times; and the clergy sometimes bought what they intended to sell.  It appears that the bishopric of Carthage was purchased by a wealthy matron, named Lucilla, for her servant Majorinus”.   Regarding the wholesale immorality and depravity of the churches, Gibbon writes that: “Fraud, envy, and malice prevailed in every congregation.  The presbyters aspired to the episcopal office, which every day became an object more worthy of their ambitions”.

This morally bankrupt lifestyle was justified under the Augustinian doctrine that, by nature, man is incapable of doing good, and he is saved by virtue of his membership in the church.   Because Constantine was not only carnal, but in every way a ruthless conscienceless despot who embraced evil in everything he did, the church that he formed was born in the image of its creator.   The question that every believer must ask today is how corrupted and contaminated has the message of Christ become after it had been placed in the hands of mankind?  In a letter to Pope Leo X on September 6th, 1520, Martin Luther wrote of the Christianity of his day, that the church, “…once the holiest of all, has become the most licentious den of thieves, the most shameless of all brothels, the kingdom of sin, death, and hell. It is so bad that even Antichrist himself, if he should come, could think of nothing to add to its wickedness” (Quoted in: The Great Thoughts; compiled by George Seldes).

That many Christians who remained carnal in their understanding twisted the doctrine of faith over the rituals of the Law which Paul promoted among the Gentiles, is readily seen in the statement of Peter where it is written: "Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.  Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless;  and account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation-- as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you,  as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures.  You therefore, beloved, since you know this beforehand, beware lest you also fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the error of the wicked;  but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen" (2 Pet 3:13-18 NKJ).

If all that was necessary was to call upon the name of Jesus and be saved, then Peter never would have made notice that "...as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures."   If all that was necessary was to have faith and call upon the name of the Lord -- saying a prayer accepting Jesus as the believers personal Lord and Savior -- then Peter never would have stated that many of the believers who were reading Paul's Epistles were ignorant of the essence of the teachings of Jesus who were "...untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures."

It is their flawed foundational doctrines of belief that not only cause all the opposing opinions that consume and divide the Christian and ultimately the religious world, but causes each group to remain alienated from the Truth.   Fix the foundation and restore Wholeness, and the Living Vine which the Church once was, will again be able to supply the spiritual manna that will heal the nations.  Yet, if that power that Paul refers to as the god of this world, can continue to invoke disputes and factional polarizations -- to the degree where fragments of truth are mistaken for the Whole Truth -- then the Truth as it is manifest in this world will continue to be overcome by the power of darkness.   Jesus warned that a House that is divided, cannot stand -- and Christianity remains a religion of mass confusion and opposing opinions, because the god of this world has prevailed in his endeavor to induce Christians to ignore the warning of Paul on the sin of sects (see No Sects).   Jesus did not come to promote doctrines of opinion and belief -- but rather, he came to teach TheWay that each person must live, think and walk in this life, to Know The Truth and manifest the Kingdom within them.   In the parable of the good seed and the field, the enemy sowed tares among the good seed -- and it has been these tares that had divided believers and alienated them from being nourished by the Sacred Manna of the Kingdom that can only be received by those who pick up their own cross and follow in the footsteps of Jesus and TheWay.   Fix the flawed foundation -- restore Wholeness -- and all the opposing opinions will disperse.   And while Christian's claim to rely upon the New Testament -- it is the very scriptures they champion that rejects their doctrines of belief as being turned out of TheWay.  Why do they fail to see this fact?   Because they are blinded by their flawed foundation which causes them to perceive in error.   Truth can only be revealed and received in accord with the disciples sincere willingness to live the Truth that has been imparted to them from the Holy Spirit in word, thought, desire and deed.

The twisting of the scriptures by a vast multitude in the modern Church is demonstrated in a recent Christian's condemnation of someone in a forum who used the name Eternal Seeker -- and the Christian bases his allegations of heresy, on the belief that Eternal Seeker is in error.   Why?  Why was the person using the name Eternal Seeker condemned by the Christian?   Because from his doctrinal Church perspective, Christians have found Jesus -- and belief is all that is required.  So from his very limited reasoning, the Christian proclaims: What is there to seek?  You simply believe, and that is the end of it.  The fact that a man would call himself the Eternal Seeker, proves to him that such a man is lost and of Satan.  Yet, the Bible states that just the opposite is true -- and it is in fact this very mindset that keeps Christians spiritually ignorant, and destroys even their opportunity to become a Disciple of Jesus and TheWay.   Speaking of the false shepherds who had been twisting both the Epistles of Paul and the scriptures to their own destruction, Peter writes: "These men are springs without water and mists driven by a storm. Blackest darkness is reserved for them. For they mouth empty, boastful words and, by appealing to the lustful desires of sinful human nature, they entice people who are just escaping from those who live in error. They promise them freedom, while they themselves are slaves of depravity -- for a man is a slave to whatever has mastered him" (2 Pet 2:17-19 NIV).

When Peter makes reference to the "...people who are just escaping from those who live in error", he is speaking of those who are trying to escape the clutches of the culture of this world, by becoming what Paul called "babes in Christ".  And yet, what Peter is stating is the fact that the very doctrines of the false shepherds who they are following, are conveying to these entry-level believers that they have found freedom in the Gospel, when in fact they have only just begun their walk in TheWay.  The depravity that Peter speaks of is in fact parallel to the warning in the Epistle of James that "faith without works is dead" -- i.e., without the works of the spirit, "...they themselves are slaves of depravity -- for a man is a slave to whatever has mastered him".  We must ask: Why would the counterfeit clergy-shepherds promise the people "freedom" in the Gospel and the Good News -- and yet, Peter warns that they "...themselves are slaves of depravity"???   Because these shepherds of the simple faith do not understand the words that Jesus said to the man who he had healed: "Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee" (John 5:14 KJV). Having themselves never been "WHOLE" -- or even remotely understand the reality of Wholeness -- the shepherds of the simple faith attempt to use Jesus as a sacrifice to live in a state of perpetual sin.   And thus, these blind guides are not only disenfranchised from the very spiritual essence of the teachings of Jesus and TheWay, but they have themselves never experienced Wholeness -- or even understand the reality that is conveyed in these words.

Perhaps the key to understanding what Peter portrayed as the false shepherds of the Church is found in the words: "Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven" (Matt 5:17-20 NKJ). Thus, while Jesus condemned the rituals and traditions of the Pharisees which used animal sacrifice to promote the doctrine of perpetual sin, Jesus openly acknowledged that he was the one time sacrifice, and the Royal Law remains completely in effect and binding upon all people's of the earth.

Peter's next statement is not only in direct opposition -- and runs contrary to what is preached in the vast majority of the Churches today -- but should literally haunt every person who calls themselves a Christian believer: "If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning. It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them. Of them the proverbs are true: A dog returns to its vomit, and, A sow that is washed goes back to her wallowing in the mud" (2 Pet 2:20-22 NIV)

Where the modern Church promotes the doctrine that they are saved by Grace regardless of the manner they live their lives, Peter not only states that this doctrine is in grave error, but correctly states that: "It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them." Every Christian should ask themselves: How Can This Be???  Christians promote the doctrine that only those who believe can be saved -- and by their doctrinal reasoning, belief is not in any manner contingent upon the person's actions.   And yet, here we see Peter is stating that the exact opposite is true -- and that those people who claim to believe, may be worse off after they have come to believe, than before they began to believe.   The shepherds and blind guides that Peter is making reference to, are those who preach the modern doctrine of perpetual sin that is promoted in churches today -- i.e., "This is especially true of those who follow the corrupt desire of the sinful nature..." (2 Peter 2:10 NIV).   Because these false shepherds fail to understand the reality of what Jesus meant when he used the terms Whole, and Complete, they preach the "...promise [of] freedom [in their doctrine of salvation by faith and grace alone], while they themselves are slaves of depravity."

In what can only be in total opposition to what Christians today believe, Peter states that it would have been better for the entry-level believers to have never heard of the Gospel, than to have heard, and then fall prey to the false shepherds who promise freedom but blindly lead the believers into the proverbial ditch.  And there is simply no means for the modern Christian who believes the doctrines of the Church, to even begin to understand what Peter is making reference to.   Why?   Because what is preached in the vast majority of the Churches today, has relatively little in common with what Jesus actually taught.   And in truth, modern Christian doctrine is founded upon the religious principles of Pagan Rome, than what Jesus actually taught.  How can this be? A person will ask? Quite contrary to modern Christian doctrine where all believers are saved, it is very clearly demonstrated in the scriptures that believers who do not live in accordance with the Commandments of the Lord will be punished more severely than the non-believers.  This truth is demonstrated in the words: “That servant who knows his master's will and does not get ready or does not do what his master wants will be beaten with many blows. But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked” (Luke 12:47-48 NIV). What Jesus is stating to us is that believer’s who do not fulfill the Commandments, will be punished more than those who do not know the will of God.

Proof of the above -- and proof that when Paul was speaking of faith, he was not speaking of a faith that permits the believer to continue to sin after embracing the Gospel -- is confirmed in the words in the Epistle to the Hebrews where it is warned that if a Christian sins willfully after becoming a believer, that they have crucified the Christ afresh, and no sacrifice (Jesus/Grace) can have any effect on their destiny of judgment as an apostate to the teachings of Jesus and TheWay: "For it is impossible to restore again to repentance those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come, if they then commit apostasy, since they crucify the Son of God on their own account and hold him up to contempt.. For if we sin deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful prospect of judgment, and a fury of fire which will consume the adversaries." (Heb 6:4-6;10:26-27 RSV).    Therefore, the Christian who willfully sins after repentance and coming to the knowledge of the teachings of the Lord, is worse off than those who have never at all believed or even heard the Gospel message and the Good News.

Most Christians Hold Jesus In Contempt: What is Paul, the alleged author of the Epistle to the Hebrews, saying in these important words?   Very clearly, he warns every person who would call themselves a believer, that repentance from a life of sin is a one time thing -- reserved for those who are entry-level Christians -- because if after repenting, the believer  "...sins deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful prospect of judgment, and a fury of fire which will consume the adversaries."    Why?   Because a believer who willfully sins after repentance and coming to the knowledge of TheWay, is a counterfeit believer who is an "apostate... who crucifies the Son of God afresh -- holding him up to contempt."

So how can counterfeit believers who hold the Lord in contempt, even begin to know the Truth?   They can't -- and what they think they know is often the whisperings of the god of this world and his hierarchy of fallen angels -- i.e., "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places" (Eph 6:12 KJV).

Martin Luther, who is the father of the modern Church doctrine that believers are saved solely by faith irrespective of their actions and the way they live their lives, recognized that he couldn't explain the above words of Paul that very clearly opposed everything that Luther believed to be true, and he therefore rejected the Epistle of the Hebrews -- as he did also with over half of the New Testament.   But did Luther understand the spiritual essence of the teachings of Jesus and TheWay in their original form?   In view of the fact that Luther could not come to terms with this and many other scriptural statements that he rejected, it is easy to recognize that because Luther was himself a priest in the spiritually disenfranchised Church of Rome, that Luther did not at all understand the very First Principles of the Spiritual Gospel that was taught by Jesus and his Disciples of TheWay.   While the above words of Paul are impossible to understand from a modern Christian perspective, they remain totally faithful to the foundational teachings that the modern Christian has been alienated from due to the limitations imposed upon the modern Church by the doctrines of pagan Rome.

How should I portray reality to those whom Paul states are apostates to the teachings of Jesus and TheWay?  Holding Christ in absolute contempt?   Paul states that those who willfully sin after repentance are in fact crucifying the Son of God afresh -- which means that their leaders in the faith are Judas' who betray Messiah/Christ.    And in teaching believers that they are saved by their faith regardless of the mindset or the lifestyle they embrace -- regardless of their actions and deeds -- the reality is that the believers of the simple faith are following the least, from the perspective of the Kingdom -- i.e., "...Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven" (Matt 5:17-20 NKJ).

Thus, Peter writes of these counterfeit clergy who "...promise them freedom" in their idolatry of using Jesus as a license to continue to sin after coming to the knowledge of Jesus and TheWay, that they are Apostates to the Kingdom.   And of these counterfeit believers who Paul calls "apostates", Peter warns that they have twisted what Paul attempted to convey "...in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures."   Peter is not making reference to the unbelievers -- but rather, those who claim to believe, and yet by the very way they live this lives, they are worse than unbelievers -- they are "apostates... who crucifies the Son of God afresh -- holding him up to contempt."   Moreover, because of the doctrinal void which was created by the Pagan Church of Rome, the modern believer will simply ignore these many profound biblical statements, because they have not means to understand how and why the fate of complacent lukewarm believers will be worse than those who never at all believed.

The faith of Paul in no manner promoted a coverture of sin in the manner that Christians preach today -- and this is especially seen in Paul's proclamation: "What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? …knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin… Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts. And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace. What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not! Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one's slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?” (Rom 6:1-16 NKJ).   Thus, it is important to see that Paul portrayed those who lived in sin as being dead -- i.e., as when Yeshua said: "Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead" (Matt 8:22 KJV).   And this is why the prodigal son who was lost in the "far country", was portrayed as being dead.   From a biblical perspective, once a disciple of the Lord has been cleansed and made whole, they are to “sin no more” (John 5:14; 8:11) -- and, “Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him” (1 Jn 3:6 NKJ).

In surviving excerpts of what has been historically known as the Gospel According to the Hebrews, which was reported to be the "original version of Matthew" that was composed in the Hebrew language, of which our present day Gospel is a Greek edition of that is said to be of a lesser spiritual level, it was written: "If ye be in my bosom and do not the will of my Father which is in heaven, out of my bosom will I cast you away". In the late nineteenth century a library of scriptures was uncovered which is today known as the Oxyrhynchus Papyri -- wherein this verse is found reading: "Though ye be gathered together with me in my bosom, if ye do not my commandants, I will cast you forth".    This same verse of scripture is quoted in what is historically known as the 2nd Epistle of Clement, where it is written: "Let us, then, not only call Him Lord, for that will not save us. For He saith, 'Not every one that saith to me, Lord, Lord, shall be saved, but he that worketh righteousness' …For this reason… the Lord hath said, 'Even though ye were gathered together to me in my very bosom, yet if ye were not to keep my commandments, I would cast you off, and say unto you, Depart from me; I know you not whence ye are, ye workers of iniquity’" (see Bible Corruption ).   And this same teaching is also confirmed in an alternate ending of the Gospel of Mark which reads:  "This Age of lawlessness and unbelieving lies under the sway of Satan, who will not allow what lies under the unclean spirits to understand the truth and power of God; therefore, they said to Christ, reveal your righteousness now.   Christ answered them, The term of years for Satan's power has now expired, but other terrors are at hand.  I was delivered to death on behalf of sinners, that they might return to the truth and sin no more, that they might inherit that glory of righteousness which is spiritual and imperishable in heaven" (Moffatt, quoting Gospel Of Mark in Codex W - Also quoted by St. Jerome as being the authentic ending of the Gospel of Mark).  And in perfect agreement with this alternate ending to the Gospel of Mark, John writes: "Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.  Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous.  He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.  Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.  In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother." (I Jn 3:6-10 NKJ)

And in total agreement with Paul, Peter warns that the the believers who continue to sin "...are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning. It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them. Of them the proverbs are true: A dog returns to its vomit, and, A sow that is washed goes back to her wallowing in the mud" -- which is also expressed in the words: "...For if we sin deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful prospect of judgment, and a fury of fire which will consume the adversaries." And this reality that the vast majority of the modern believers fail to comprehend, is further confirmed in Paul's letter to the Corinthians: "Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup. For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. For this reason many are weak and sick among you, and many sleep" (1 Cor 11:27-30 NKJ).

What Is The Source Of The Modern Day Christian Apostasy?  While both Peter and James are correct in the fact that it was initiated by a misunderstanding of Paul's faith over the rituals of the Law as practiced by the Pharisees, in many respects the doctrines which were born under the umbrella of Protestantism took the doctrine of faith irrespective of one's actions to a new levels of ungodliness and hypocracy -- and this is seen in the fact that Luther's concepts of the teachings of Jesus were in fact reactionary doctrines to the corruption of the Church of Rome.   But what Church did he oppose?   That the Church would be ruled over by the AntiChrist was predicted in the Bible (see The Church Of The AntiChrist).   By embracing the doctrine of faith regardless of actions which was instituted by Martin Luther, the Christians have totally failed to maintain the necessary biblical standards which are required.  And while Christians are critical of the thinking and lifestyle of others, Christians continue to promote the doctrines of Martin Luther -- a Roman priest who embraced the Augustinian doctrine of Original Sin -- a doctrine which totally failed to understand the higher reality of Divine Providence -- and Luther went as far as to actually promote a life of sin as evidence of faith.   Luther rejected over half of the New Testament -- and in total opposition to the teachings of Jesus, Martin Luther actually promoted sin as proof of salvation.  In Luther's own words: "Be a sinner, and let your sins be strong, but let your trust in Christ be stronger, and rejoice in Christ who is the victor over sin, death, and the world. We will commit sins while we are here, for this life is not a place where justice resides... No sin can separate us from Him, even if we were to kill or commit adultery thousands of times each day." ('Let Your Sins Be Strong, from 'The Wittenberg Project;' 'The Wartburg Segment', translated by Erika Flores, from Dr. Martin Luther's Saemmtliche Schriften, Letter No. 99, 1 Aug. 1521.)

Complacent Believers Worse Off Than Unbelievers:  Until the believer is able to come to terms with why Jesus and his disciples openly warned of the reality that the fate of the complacent believer is worse than the unbelievers, they will remain spiritually impotent and unable to grasp the very First Principles of the Gospel and the Good News to mankind that Jesus taught.    And while Martin Luther and the Protestant Reformers who instituted the exodus from Rome in the Reformation may have been sincere, there were a number of truly important teachings that had been suppressed by the Church of Rome that totally inhibited their understanding of the original spiritual essence of the Gospel message.   And for the most part the error of their thinking, remains an integral flaw in the doctrines of the Church to this very day.

Before a person can go beyond this point, they must first come to the realization that they do not understand why the unbelievers who have sinned and deserving of much judgment, will receive less judgment than the complacent believer.    In the Revelation it is warned: "I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot.  So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth" (Rev 3:15-16 NKJ).   What works are being made reference to?   Someone who is cold to the Gospel, is an unbeliever -- while someone who is hot, is on fire as a true Disciple of TheWay.   But someone who is lukewarm, is very clearly a member of the Church who is complacent, and fails to bring about the works of the spirit that is required to walk in TheWay.   Thus, Jesus warned: "And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more" (Luke 12:47-48 KJV).    Thus, the modern Christian simply has no means to understand why and how the lukewarm believer will be beaten with the stripes of greater judgment, than the unbeliever.    So what is the fate of those who "...did commit things worthy of stripes" -- but they shall clearly receive far less than those who knew the masters will, but did not properly prepare themselves?   This is in opposition to everything that modern Christians believe.

When Jesus said to the chief priests and the elders that the “…tax collectors and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you” (Matt 21:31 RSV), such a statement simply has no place within the present day understanding of Christian doctrine.   Because we are without a means to explain Jesus' words, most Bible commentaries simply ignore the implications of this passage of scripture.   One widely used commentary attempts to correct the text by changing the words to “instead of” -- which would then make the meaning doctrinally correct and read: “The tax collectors and the harlots go into the kingdom of God instead of you”.   But this is not what Jesus stated.    And this reality is further confirmed in the case of sinners and those who have been judged by the Law are portrayed as having been cast into a type of prison, Jesus stated: "Assuredly, I say to you, you will by no means get out of there till you have paid the last penny" (Matt 5:26 NKJ).

All three synoptic Gospels contain the passage of scripture which states: “And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?” (Mark 10:16 KJV).   The more we consider the reply of Jesus to this question, the more we comprehend that his answer undermines our whole modern-day understanding of the Gospel: “And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments” (Matt 19:17 KJV).   Why would Jesus tell the man seeking eternal life to go and "...keep the commandments” ?    If, as modern Church doctrine proclaims, there is no salvation apart from faith and belief in Jesus -- and no works or actions are a part of the equation -- then why wouldn't Jesus simply tell the man to believe?

In the modern Christian’s search for a higher understanding of the Gospel message, what is presented in this passage of scripture is of the greatest importance, as seen in the Adam Clarke Commentary which writes:

“Much instruction may be had from seriously attending to the conduct, spirit, and question of this person.

1.      He came running (Mark 10:17), for he was deeply convinced of the importance of his business, and seriously determined to seek so as to find.

2.      He kneeled, or caught him by the knees, thus evidencing his humility, and addressing himself only to mercy. (See Matt. 17:14).

3.      He came in the spirit of a disciple, or scholar, desiring to be taught a matter of the utmost importance to him -- Good teacher.

4.      He came in the spirit of obedience; he had worked hard to no purpose, and he is still willing to work, provided he can have a prospect of succeeding -- What good thing shall I do?

5.      His question was the most interesting and important that any soul can ask of God -- How shall I be saved?”

As was the case then, the question that was asked by this person remains valid in our own time -- i.e., in the words of the Adam Clark Commentary, the most “...important that any soul can ask of God -- How shall I be saved?”   In fact, the question is so important to us in our present time that it could be said that if we do not possess the genuine answer, it is as if we are playing Russian roulette with our lives.   When each of us stands before the judgment seat of the Lord, our ability to answer this question will be of a paramount importance.   The problem is that the nature of the question itself demands our utmost attention, and cannot be answered in a casual manner.   At stake is your very life and future existence.   Why?   Because a true understanding of life and the Gospel is dependent upon what you see, perceive and comprehend in this all-important story that is contained in each of the three synoptic gospels.

The time will come -- the event is imminent -- regardless of what you do, you cannot evade your destiny -- everyone must come to terms with the question that this man asked the Lord.   If you have listened to the wrong people or religious authority -- believed the wrong doctrine -- or squandered your opportunity in life -- then everything that you have labored to acquire and achieve will be forever lost.   Regardless of how religious you are -- how often you attend church -- how much money you donate to the church -- if you fail to answer this single question correctly, the result of your life could be as spiritually stagnant as the Sadducees and Pharisees who worshiped the Lord in vain!

From the perspective of the Gospel message, it is of the greatest importance that we understand what is being presented here.   Moreover, it is important to recognize that from our modern day perception of the Gospel message, we would conclude that the person who approached Jesus would be saved, and he would be counted as being faithful by today’s concepts of New Covenant teachings.   In fact, by today’s standards, this man could be a pillar of the church.   He came to Jesus -- falling on his knees -- declaring his faith -- calling upon the name of the “good master” -- desiring to be saved.

Yet, in total opposition to our understanding of what we believe is the preaching of Paul and the doctrine of the modern church, Jesus replied that the man has to do more than believe and have faith, fall on his knees to Jesus, and acknowledge him as the “good master”.   Not only did the man have to observe the Commandments of God, but he had to relinquish all that he owned in this world, and follow the Lord: “Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me” (Matt 19:21 KJV).

If our modern-day perception of the gospel was correct, and the good news that is presently being preached from the pulpits of our churches represents the true revelation of the Lord to mankind, then Jesus would have told the man that his faith (in Jesus) has saved him.   In opposition to what is commonly believed today, we can see clearly demonstrated here that belief and faith in Jesus, without the observance of the Commandments as found in the Law, and without the relinquishing of the things of this world, cannot save us -- as expressed in the words of the Matthew Henry’s Commentary which concludes: “Though many that call themselves Christians, do not act as if they believed it; it is certain, that, when we embrace Christ, we must let go the world, for we cannot serve God and mammon... we must devote ourselves entirely to the conduct and government of our Lord Jesus; Come, and follow me. It seems here to be meant of a close and constant attendance upon his person, such as the selling of what he had in the world was as necessary as it was to the other disciples to quit their callings; but of us it is required that we follow Christ, that we duly attend upon his ordinances, strictly conform to his pattern, and cheerfully submit to his disposals, and by upright and universal obedience observe his statutes, and keep his laws, and all this from a principle of love to him, and dependence on him, and with a holy contempt of every thing else in comparison of him, and much more in competition with him. This is to follow Christ fully”.

What was the fate of this man?   When he asked about eternal life, Jesus did not tell him to believe and be saved -- but rather, Jesus told him to go and keep the commandments.    How can one be saved by keeping the commandments?    And when the man stated that he had kept the commandments, and he desired to become a follower, Jesus would not find him acceptable unless he gave up all his worldly possessions.    Further, another element of this biblical account that the modern believer must seriously consider is the rebuke of Jesus when the man called him “good master”.   In our churches today we can observe people who feel they are right with the Lord by praising His name.    What Jesus said to the man is that what you say with your lips means absolutely nothing -- and it is what you do with your life with respect to fulfilling the Commandments, and being in the world and not of it, that will save you.   And it is important that we be continually cognizant of the words of the Lord when he warned: “For many are called, but few are chosen” (Matt 22:14 KJV)!   And when we ask who are those who are called?   The answer can only be: Those who have had the Gospel preached to them -- and those who are complacent or lukewarm, will clearly receive the greater judgment than those who are not even believers.   Yet, by today's doctrinal teachings, Christians simply have no means to answer the many questions that these many ignored verses of the New Testament raise?    And when it is realized that the true test of belief is to the degree that each person picks up their own cross and imitates the pattern of the life of Jesus, then a great number of Christians today will despise those who call themselves teachers and shepherds today.   Thus, the words of the Brother of Jesus: "Not many of you should presume to be teachers, my brothers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly" (James 3:1 NIV).

The Void In Modern Church Doctrine: Using the Bible I have demonstrated a great void in modern Church dogma that is the result of the doctrines of Constantine and other emperors imposing their will upon the Church when a body of carnal Christians entered into a covenant with Rome.   In their typical pagan mindset, they promoted a doctrine and lifestyle where Jesus was used as a perpetual sacrifice and crucified daily, so that people who called themselves believers could live in accord with the way of the heathen.   And to insure compliance with their form of Christian Paganism, these emperors and their armies then murdered all believers who refused to accept the approved doctrines of the religion of the Roman Empire.   Yet, contrary to Church doctrine, in the above it has been demonstrated that the fate of a complacent lukewarm believer, is worse off and brings greater judgment than that received by those who were never at all believers.      And if we add into the equation the clearly defined biblical doctrine of predestination and Divine Providence, the void very quickly becomes an expansive abyss of unanswered questions that inhibits all thought and reasoning beyond a very limited certain doctrinal point.   And when Martin Luther was confronted by this abyss of doctrinal limitations and ignorance, he simply condemned the use of the mind and the God-Given Gift of reason that sets man apart from the beasts and brutes of the earth -- i.e., “Reason”, writes Luther, “is the greatest enemy that faith has; it never comes to the aid of spiritual things, but - more frequently than not - struggles against the divine Word, treating with contempt all that emanates from God” (Quoted in: The Great Thoughts; compiled by George Seldes).   From a strictly dogmatic perspective, the only option open to modern believers is to embrace what has been called blind faith and belief.   Regardless of the facts and realities that are presented to the faithful flock of believers, they perceive it as necessary to as Luther states, reject both reason and the use of man's intellectual facilities of mind.

History easily demonstrates that under the rule of Roman Authority, the church fell into such carnal degeneracy that it embraced every sort of political and materialistic corruption -- a corruption that brought the level of the church so low, that it even ordained sexual orgies for the priests.   This morally bankrupt lifestyle was justified under their doctrine that, by nature, man is incapable of doing good, and he is saved by virtue of his membership in the church.

In total disregard of the admonition of the scriptures themselves, the greater majority of Christians believe that the church is beyond the reach of Satan -- that God somehow drew a line that Satan cannot cross over -- that God intervened when man by virtue of his gift of freewill, chose evil over the good.    And while God did not in any manner save the Jews from their own iniquity, Christians arrogantly believe that they are exempt from the judgment.   Thus, Christians totally reject the warning of Paul who stated: “Do not be arrogant, but be afraid” (Rom 11:20 NIV) -- stating that if they failed to keep the foundational requirements of the Covenant, that they would be cast away in the manner of the Jews -- i.e., “For if God did not spare the natural Jewish branches, he will not spare you either… Otherwise, you also will be cut off” (Rom 11:21-22 NIV).   And naively, Christians choose to ignore the most important lessons of both history and the Bible, and they reason that because of this force of Divine protection, Satan has not immersed himself in every aspect of their lives!  Yet, to their own detriment, the leaders of the modern church ignore the warning of the Apostle: “let no man beguile you in any wise: for (it will not be,) except the falling away come first, and the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition, he that opposeth and exalteth himself against all that is called God or that is worshipped; so that he sitteth in the temple of God, setting himself forth as God” (2 Thes 2:3-4 ASV).

What the Apostle is herein very clearly predicting is that there would come a time when the god of the Christian Church will be a false god.   Historically speaking, it has been almost universally recognized that the period in time that the Apostle could have been referring to was in the fourth century when the church made a covenant with the Roman Emperor Constantine.   With regard to this falling away, the Adam Clark Commentary writes of this passage of Paul's Epistle: “[Except there come a falling away first] We have the original word apostasia in our word apostasy; and by this term we understand a dereliction of the essential principles of religious truth, either a total abandonment of Christianity itself, or such a corruption of its doctrines as renders the whole system completely inefficient to salvation. But what this apostasy means is a question which has not yet, and perhaps never will be, answered to general satisfaction” (from the Adam Clarke Commentary).

Not to depreciate or make less the significance of any one of the individual statements presented in the above words, what the modern believer must recognized is the far-reaching totality of the statement: But what this apostasy means is a question which has not yet, and perhaps never will be, answered to general satisfaction”.   Ultimately, what this means to the modern believer is that each and every church authority from the fourth-century to the present, as well as every single preacher of the gospel, speaks from the position of concession -- which concession is that there is a great void in their knowledge of the truth.   Thus, one of the core presumptions upon which our present-day doctrine of faith is based, is that these words of the Apostle Paul are not true.        One of the major causes of the present state of doctrinal chaos is the failure of modern pastors and church authorities to recognize that the key to their dilemma is found in the prediction of the Apostle that there would come a time of total abandonment of the Gospel with respect to the desolation of all genuine spiritual Christian ideas and concepts.

What this means is that the Apostle predicts that in the near future, the true religion of Jesus would cease to exist in this world.   In this respect, the words of the Apostle are quite clear in their assertion -- i.e., from the time period of the first century of our Common Era when it was written by the hand of Paul, it prophetically speaks of a time in the near future when the teachings that Jesus placed in the hands of mankind would cease to exist -- and it is the correct assertion of many Christians that this in fact took place in the establishment of an institutionalized church under the control of Pagan Rome in the fourth century.     What the modern Christian fails to realize is that the total corruption of the doctrine of the church which the Apostle speaks of was in fact brought about by the adoption of the AntiChrist of Constantine, which resulted in the rejection of the Messiah Yeshua/Jesus of Nazareth.   While it is true that believers use the name Jesus, and call themselves his followers, what Christians have lost sight of is that the essence of the religion of the New Covenant is spiritual -- and where the physical body of Messiah/Christ was crucified by the carnal Jews in the first century, the spiritual body of Messiah/Christ was crucified by those who called themselves Christians in the fourth century.

In further explanation with regard to this crucial prediction of the Apostle, the Adam Clark Commentary then goes on to provide us a vivid description of Constantine and the formation of his new church: “[Who opposeth and exalteth] He stands against and exalts himself above all divine authority, and above every object of adoration, and every institution, relative to divine worship, sebasma, himself being the source, whence must originate all the doctrines of religion, and all its rites and ceremonies; so that sitting in the temple of God -- having the highest place and authority in the Christian church, he acts as God -- taking upon himself God's titles and attributes, and arrogating to himself the authority that belongs to the Most High” (from the Adam Clarke Commentary).   That these events came to pass is well documented from a historical perspective -- i.e., the church was ruled by Satanic forces that dictated every aspect of Christian doctrine.   And while it is true that many faithful believers, clergy, pastors and religious authorities today have recognized the defilement of the church that took place beginning in the fourth century, what could not be revealed until now was the absolute certainty that, because the Church has never fully recovered from the darkness and corruption that was imposed upon the teachings of the church by the ruthless political despots of the past, essential foundational principles, as well as indispensable elements of New Covenant knowledge of what is constantly referred to in the Bible as the Mysteries of God, is presently absent from the thinking of the body of the faithful believers to this very day.

Many Protestants -- or non-Roman Catholics -- will readily admit that the Church had become thoroughly corrupted during its long residence upon the earth.   One of the problems is that, even though Luther and the reformers knew this fact, this knowledge alone did not mean they possessed a clear and pure vision of the essence of the original teachings of Jesus.   In fact, it can easily be demonstrated that they did not, and this was the true reason why Luther rejected over half the New Testament as being inferior and even spurious.  For Luther to call the Epistle of James -- the Brother of Jesus who was the first leader of the New Covenant Congregation -- a man who was known as the James the Just -- the Righteous one who communed with the Holy Spirit in all matters -- who Luther condemned his Epistle as one of straw -- demonstrates Luther's inability to even understand the First Principles of the teachings of Jesus and TheWay.   Moreover, every quotation in the above by both Peter and Paul, confirms the position of James who Luther rejected.

In acknowledgement of the massive corruption of the Church under Pagan Rome, many church authorities today will counter that these things do not really matter, because they have the Bible -- God's Word -- as a foundation for their beliefs.   Fundamentally, their doctrine is that, even though God did not protect the Church from becoming corrupt, He somehow stood vigilant guard over the scriptures in order to insure their purity.   Yet, in contradistinction to what Christians want to believe by virtue of blind faith and the suspension of reason, what we must also recognize is the fact that the Bible also flowed down into our present time through the same cultural streams and byways as did the doctrines of the Church itself.   Thus, none of the present-day religious authorities who proclaim the purity of the Bible have the slightest idea as to what the scriptures looked like in their original form.   They have never seen the original scriptures, and they reject many of the oldest copies of the scriptures that we possess today.   What they say, then, must be understood as a profession of faith -- blind faith -- rather than what is factual.   As a statement of faith, they confess to us that they believe God stood sentinel over the scriptures in order to safeguard them from the most corrupt church known to modern man.   It is a statement of faith when they affirm that this church which Luther calls the church of the antichrist, did not also defile the written word in the manner that it corrupted every other aspect of Jesus’ teachings.   What they fail to tell you is that in making this profession of faith, they ignore the warning of many biblical scholars who openly claim that the original text of the Bible was lost in what appears to be a conspiracy which coincidently took place in the fourth century -- which is the era in history when the Church became institutionalized, and came under the direct control of the Roman Imperial Government.

Is it true that God stood sentinel over the scriptures?   Based upon what we do know regarding the purity of the Bible, Christians today should be greatly alarmed.   Quoting Prof. Millar Burrows in More Light on the Dead Sea Scrolls, Prof. Burrows writes: “There are those who believe or assume that the Greek and Hebrew texts from which our translations are made are infallible.  No person who has studied textual criticism at all could believe that.  The most conservative scholars in the most conservative churches recognize that the text has become corrupt at many points in the course of its transmission.  If that were not already well known and universally admitted, the Dead Sea Scrolls would demonstrate it conclusively.”    And to take this rather profound statement one step further, these same Dead Sea Scrolls have forced many biblical scholars to totally re-examine what they at one time accepted as factual and historical truths.  Thus the of biblical scholar A. Powell Davies takes on a whole new meaning when we begin to understand what truly happened: “Biblical scholars were not disturbed by what they found in the Dead Sea Scrolls because they had known all along that the origin of Christianity was not what was commonly supposed to have been”.

If our scriptures that we depend upon as the foundation of our beliefs have many points where they are “corrupt”, -- and the origin of Christianity is  "...not what was commonly supposed to have been”  -- then we had better be concerned!   Why?   Because if the Bible has been altered from its original form, then it was altered to support the tenets of belief of a very Pagan and corrupt Roman Church.   What this means is the most essential points of the scripture that support the foundation of a Spiritual Church, rather than a secular institutionalized church under Roman pagan rule, were the first to be removed or edited out of the scriptures we possess today.   Moreover, the implications from a religious perspective are horrific -- i.e., if this is true, then the Jesus that we believe in today might not be the same Jesus whose revealed teaching of The Way could save the soul of man.

The Answer To The Doctrinal Dilemma: If the Lord was to raise up a prophet in our time and send him forth to speak to the people, and this prophet attempted to convey to believers what biblical scholars already know -- i.e., “that the text has become corrupt at many points in the course of its transmission” -- and that
"...the origin of Christianity was not what was commonly supposed to have been” -- his message would be rejected and condemned by the greater number of believers today.   Why?   Because such a thing would be incomprehensible to them.   They would reason that God would never permit this to happen to them!   After all, from their very limited three-dimensional perception of life, if God permitted both the Church and then the scriptures to become corrupt, then man would have no means of knowing the truth.   They would then reason that mankind would therefore not know what to believe, and he would possess no means of salvation.   From their very limited perspective of both the Gospel and the higher reality of man's soul and spiritual natures, they of course have a valid argument -- but this is only because they lack a fundamental understanding of the spiritual reality beyond our three-dimensional limitations.   Yet, the answer to their spiritual and doctrinal dilemma, is found in the very biblical verses which they ignore -- biblical verses some of which are explored above.   When the man approached Jesus and asked him about eternal life, Jesus replied that he should keep the Commandments -- and if the modern believer would begin to keep the Commandments and observe the Royal Spiritual Law throughout every aspect of their lives, they would begin to find their way out of the abyss of the doctrinal quagmire within which they are presently immersed.   If these same people were to in fact totally surrender to the Word in all its fullness, and pick up their own cross and travail in TheWay as Jesus Commanded, they would know by virtue of their own experiences that their reasoning and rational is in grave error.

From the perspective of life itself, it is also easily confirmed that in the greater vision of man's existence upon this earth it can be demonstrated that God ordains a life that is rarely fair from our point of view.   When we ask why God permits bad things to happen to good and faithful believers, and our clergy can only answer with the words: “You have to have faith” -- this is an acknowledgement that the Church does not understand the manner in which God moves.   Yet, the truth lies in the fact that part of our inability to understand why God would permit such horrendous things as is commonplace in our world today to happen, lies in the differences in the core beliefs and perceptions of life that we presently hold, in relation to the spiritual foundational environmental thinking from which our New Testament scriptures originally emerged.   Yet, like the prodigal son, anytime that we desire truth over accepted doctrines of belief -- and we are willing to re-examine our dogmatic positions in light of the biblical verses that are presented in the above -- then we will begin to find the answer to the dilemma of blind faith in mysteries we do not understand, and the suspension of reason when we are confronted by the facts which the vast majority of modern Christians simply refuse to examine and seek the truth.

The Spiritual Church vs The Institutionalized Shadow Church: It was a promise of the Lord regarding the New Covenant Church: “And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” (Matt 16:18 KJV).   Is the promise of Jesus correct?   In view of the fact that the church became one of the most corrupt institutions known to man -- and in the words of Luther
"...It is so bad that even Antichrist himself, if he should come, could think of nothing to add to its wickedness”  -- and those men known as priests and bishops were seen in the role of apostles of the Devil, rather than Christ, we would be forced to acknowledge the fact that the “gates of hell” did indeed “prevail against it”!   We must then conclude that either Jesus was wrong, or the fault is our own vision of the Church.   This would indicate the existence of still another possibility that few people today would understand -- i.e., the first century vision of the Church of Christ was very different than our idea of a church today.   If this is true, then Jesus was not wrong, and the genuine Church remained pure throughout all time regardless of the corruption that the church of this world was immersed in.   Moreover, this same reality also applies to the scriptures -- and while the Bible that was given to the modern believer by the hands of the Roman Church has been corrupted, it is also true that pure scriptures do exist, and they can only be accessed by believers who embrace the teachings of Jesus and TheWay in the purity that was intended.

A great truth we must come to terms with is the fact that because man says a certain thing, that does not make his assertion valid.   In the same way that anyone can proclaim they are followers of Christ, and claim to be Christian -- unless Christ is in agreement, our assertion is invalid.   We can call ourselves the people of the New Covenant, but if in our application of the Word it is found that we have rejected the very essence of New Covenant thought, then our assertion is again invalid.   In this respect, the first century followers of Jesus were of Christ, and a New Covenant Church unto themselves, because the Lord himself affirmed these things to be true, and they maintained the spiritual essence of the teachings of TheWay.   The very fact that later Pagan Christians of the fourth century condemned the Church that Jesus himself ordained -- and the fact that our thinking is alien to the original Disciples of Christ, while we hold many beliefs in common with the fourth century Church of Pagan Rome, should be sufficient reason for us to question many of our own foundational concepts of religion which we have received directly from the hands of the fourth century church.

The Church that Jesus Ordained and stated that "...the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” -- is not of this world, and can only be accessed through the inner "narrow gate" within us.   As the prodigal sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father, the vast majority of mankind dwells in the "far country" which Jesus portrayed as being controled by the "citizen" of this world -- i.e., the fallen angel we call Lucifer.    The Book of the Revelation when properly understood, portrays the Kingdom coming within the body, mind and life of the Disciple of TheWay.   And only those who live in the manner that Jesus taught and ordained, can enter therein -- i.e., "Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful" (Rev 21:27 NIV).  This same truth was expressed by Isaiah where it is written: "And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness. The unclean will not journey on it; it will be for those who walk in that Way; wicked fools will not go about on it" (Isa 35:8 NIV). And this same truth is expressed in the words of Yeshua/Jesus when he warned: "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it" (Matt 7:13-14 NIV). The "narrow gate" that Jesus speaks that we must open in order for us to be born into the Kingdom, has its parallels in the birth canal that serves as the gate that each of us has emerged through when we physically entered into this present world.  That the next stage of birth has its similarities, is merely the result that all realities are designed in accordance with the same Divine Pattern of Creation.

What is truly important for us to see in these solemn words spoken by the Lord, is that only those who "enter through the narrow gate" will enter into Life -- i.e., it is not those who believe, but those who follow in the footsteps who are the Genuine Christians.  In order to enter into the Kingdom, the disciple must be bathed in the healing waters of consecration that cleanses them of all defilements of this world.    Thus, there are countless commandments in the New Testament that Christians close a blind eye to and ignore.   Jesus said: "But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment" (Matt 12:36 KJV).  And what words are not considered idle?  Paul tells us to "Pray without ceasing" (1Thes 5:17 KJV).

Why? Why would Jesus warn us that we will be judged for merely speaking an "idle word"?  It must be understood that to be consciously aware of "every idle word" requires one to be in total control of their mind.  That this total control of one’s words begins with a total control of one’s mind can further be seen in the commandment of the Apostle to "…take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ" (2 Cor 10:5 NIV). Moreover, how can the same Apostle who states that we are saved by faith, rather than works, expect those who call themselves Christians to "…take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ"?  Thus, we begin to see that in the religion that was preached by both Jesus and Paul, there can be no meaningless idle expressions that are easily seen plaguing the lives of the modern Christian.

As Jacob/James, the brother of Yeshua/Jesus, the man who was the first leader of the New Covenant Church and was known as a true holy man, wrote that in order to fulfill the vision of the Gospel, one had to "…bridle the whole body" (James 3:2 KJV). While this may appear totally alien from the perspective of the modern Christian who fully indulges in the unbounded excesses of our present-day cultural lifestyle, the Apostle Paul confirmed the validity of these words from a New Covenant perspective when he wrote of the necessity to "…beat my body and make it my slave..." (1 Cor 9:27 NIV). Moreover, that faith meant an entirely different thing to the Apostle Paul than what is being preached from our pulpits today, can be seen in Paul’s commandment to all who would call themselves a Christian to "Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature" (Col 3:5 NIV). To the degree that Paul warned: “For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live” (Rom 8:13 KJV).   To mortify the deeds of the body takes work -- a great amount of work -- and this work cannot be accomplished through a static faith.   The problem is that these biblical commandments have absolutely nothing in common with the doctrine of faith that was developed by Martin Luther in the Middle-ages.

These biblical verses are rarely used today because they represent concepts that would be considered extreme and fanatical from the perspective of both believers and non-believers in our modern-day culture. In fact, everything in our present-day society has been engineered by what the Apostle calls the god of this world, to inhibit the fulfilling of these necessary ingredients in the process of the next stage of birth that the Bible states is absolutely necessary if we are to enter into Life.

Therefore, the people who embrace the culture and thinking of this world, even when they call themselves Christian, are those who walk the "broad… road that leads to destruction".   What Jesus warns us is that we cannot walk two paths -- it is either the one or the other -- and philosophical complacent Christians will neither go to Heaven, to Glory, or inherit eternal life -- without entering through the narrow gate that is the entrance to the Kingdom.   Moreover, if this is not accomplished while we are alive in the physical body in which we presently dwell, then we will have failed.

The Bible continually warns us that the path or the second birth and entrance into the Kingdom is not easy.   The strife of the inner war within ourselves as embodied in the symbols of Armageddon is seen in the words: "We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God" (Acts 14:22 NKJ).  Thus, in the same way that a woman travails in labor to bring a child into this world, we must ourselves endure the "…many tribulations" of spiritual labor to be born into the Kingdom of God.   Since the Kingdom is within us, and Armageddon is therefore not an historical event -- but more factually, a spiritual event in the life of the disciple in search of Truth -- we must then totally re-evaluate everything we think we know about both the Gospel Message, and the life we are presently living.   In fully comprehending these biblical statements in relation to the whole purpose of the teachings of The Way, let us again examine the definitive statement which conveys to us the very essence of the Gospel -- and especially the Revelation of John: "Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie" (Rev 22:14-15 NKJ).

If the text of the Revelation represented the end of the world, as is commonly believed by the majority of Christians today, then why are those who remain outside the city portrayed as "dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie"? Armageddon, then, indicates the disciples personal tribulation described as the "pangs of birth", as he endeavors to overcome his own lower carnal nature through the crucifixion of what is symbolized by the flesh, in order that he can possess the Knowledge of the fruit of the Tree of Life, transcend the natural barriers of this world, and "enter through the gates into the city".

This is the return from this, the "far country... outer darkness", by the prodigal sons and daughters who arise from the thinking, mindset, culture and ways of this world, and are able to enter the Inner Kingdom (Luke 17:20-21).   And it is this Living Temple within -- where the scriptures have been preserved in absolute purity -- that is the Church that Jesus Ordained and stated that "...the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”

Fortunately, for the complacent Christians who Paul portrays as  "apostates... who crucifies the Son of God afresh -- holding him up to contempt" -- the word translated destruction with respect to the broad-way, does not mean what most people think it does.    Thus, the footnote on this word in the Schofield Reference Bible reads: “There is no thought in these various words of annihilation but of something that is ruined and thus unsuitable or unable to fulfill its original purpose”.    But to understand the reality of what is truly being portrayed, you must also understand why complacent and lukewarm Christians receive the greater judgment than those who never knew of the Gospel message.

The Christian Diaspora: Because the Church has made itself the Christian Judas -- i.e., the betrayer of Messiah/Christ who crucifies the Lord daily in the abomination of their thinking, mindset and lifestyle -- the Church itself has been cast into the "outer darkness" (Matt 22:11-13 NKJ) of mind and being.    Because the Church worships in a Pagan mindset born out of Rome, where they crucify Messiah/Christ daily on their altars of sin -- making the Gospel an abomination -- they have been driven by the very Hand of God into the abyss of ignorance.   Thus, their eyes have been blinded to the higher realities of the soul -- and they know not the Kingdom which can never come upon the earth in the carnal manner they predict -- because they make a mockery of the Lord, their minds have been hardened so they cannot understand the true meaning of the scriptures -- and they are an abomination who is the blind, leading the blind.

Contrary to what Christians want to believe, it has already been demonstrated in the above that the complacent lukewarm believer will suffer a greater fate and judgment than even the unbeliever.     Thus, what is portrayed in the allegory of hell, the Bible itself warns will be the fate of the Christians, even more so than the unbelievers who the Christians condemn as sinners who have been turned out of TheWay.   And one of the realities which few believers are willing to face, is the fact that if the Christians had a Covenant with God, then it has been revoked.   In the same way that it was said that the Jews were exiled from the Promised Land -- their temple despoiled -- taken captive -- and made slaves in the cultural Babylon of the "outer darkness" -- and all this was orchestrated by the Hand of God against the Jews -- the same fate has befallen the Christians.   And in a similar manner as the Jews who rejected Jesus, because the hearts and minds of the vast majority of Christians has been hardened by the very Hand of God -- blinding them and inhibiting them from the Truth, the Light, and the Kingdom -- they will remain incapable of embracing the True Teachings of Jesus and TheWay regardless of the facts that are set before them.

The Hand of God has taken away the freewill of Christians in the same manner as the fate that befell the Jews at the time of Jesus.   The Bible does not state that the Jews rejected Jesus -- but rather, that God forced them to reject Jesus.   In the same way that it was said of the Jews who rejected Jesus: Even after Jesus had done all these miraculous signs in their presence, they still would not believe in him…”, because the Christians rejected God in a parallel manner as when the Jews were carried off and made slaves in ancient Babylon, the hearts and minds of the mainstream Christians have been hardened and blinded to the Word of God and the Kingdom.   Why did many of the Jews reject Jesus?    Because their hearts were hardened, and their eyes blinded, and the Hand of God working upon them did not permitted them to see and understand the Truth.   And this is easily demonstrated in the words: For this reason they could not believe, because, as Isaiah says elsewhere: ‘He has blinded their eyes and deadened their hearts, so they can neither see with their eyes, nor understand with their hearts’” (John 12:37-40 NIV).   Paul warned the Christians to be afraid -- i.e., “Do not be arrogant, but be afraid” (Rom 11:20 NIV) -- stating that if they failed to keep the foundational requirements of the Covenant, that they would be cast away in the manner of the Jews -- i.e., “For if God did not spare the natural Jewish branches, he will not spare you either… Otherwise, you also will be cut off” (Rom 11:21-22 NIV).

In the above part of this article it was demonstrated using the Bible that the complacent lukewarm Christians will receive the greater judgment than even the unbelievers -- that the Church under Rome became the Synagogue of Satan -- that the prediction of Paul came to pass, and the AntiChrist was worshiped where it is written that "...the son of perdition, he that opposeth and exalteth himself against all that is called God or that is worshipped; so that he sitteth in the temple of God, setting himself forth as God” -- that the scriptures were corrupted and edited to make them support the doctrines of Pagan Rome (see Bible Corruption) -- but these facts mean absolutely nothing to the flock of blind believers.   Why?   Regardless of what I write -- or the Truths that are revealed -- the mainstream of Christians will not be able to embrace these Truths, because the Laws of God working upon their hearts and minds, will not permit them to perceive and understand -- as was the case with the Jews before them when Jesus walked the earth.   And in the same way that the leaders of the Jews vehemently opposed Jesus -- condemning him as a heretic and demon possessed -- the leaders of the mainstream Christians have done the same -- and will continue to condemn and oppose the Truth and the teachings of TheWay.   Why?   Because their Covenant has been revoked -- and like the salt that lost its taste and power to preserve, the Church has been cast out to be trodden under the feet of the Nations (Mt 5:13).

TheCall: In the same way that there is always a forerunner who is sent to warn the people -- and even John the Baptist was said by Jesus to be Elijah who returned to sound TheCall -- Jacob who is known as James, the Brother of Yeshua who is known as Jesus, has been sent into the world to make TheCall to those who have the ears to hear, and the eyes to see that the Kingdom is at hand.   And as a servant of the Kingdom, a shepherd of TheWay, and an emissary of what is to come, those who are predestined to hear the Living Word at this time, will experiencing an opening of their hearts and minds to the Truth, TheWay, and the coming of the Kingdom.   In the same way that Jesus taught "that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father" (Jn 6:65), the same truth and reality remains in effect in our own time.    If you want to know the Messiah/Christ who cannot be known by the people of this world, then you must live and embrace the Truth and TheWay in the manner that Jesus taught -- letting go of the doctrines of men that lead the people astray -- and setting one's self apart from the lifestyle of the people who are servants to the god of this world.   Only those who the Father permits to hear the Living Word, can come to TheCall.

Why Jacob/James?   Peter is quoted as saying with respect to James: "Our lord and prophet, who has sent us, declared to us that the Evil One, having disputed with him for forty days, but failing to prevail against him, promised that he would send Apostles from among his subjects to deceive them. Therefore, above all, remember to shun ANY APOSTLE, TEACHER OR PROPHET WHO DOES NOT ACCURATELY COMPARE HIS TEACHING WITH JAMES...the brother of our Lord...and this, even if he comes to you with recommendations" (Clementine Homilies 11.35).  Thus, we are able to see where the present-day doctrines and lifestyle associated with the Christian Church today, is merely the work of the apostles of the Evil One.

Martin Luther, founder of the Protestant Reformation, referred to the Epistle of James as an "epistle of straw." Frustrated by religious leaders who claimed this book supported their mistaken ideas that people could buy their salvation through monetary gifts to the church, Luther uttered his ill-advised phrase. Consumed in the debate, he went beyond a proper understanding of the Scriptures and dismissed James's statements that works are a necessary evidence of faith.    Christians today misapply Luther's words, not understanding the circumstances behind them, and his words and arguments are promoted by a Church which often use saved by faith to condone a spiritually undisciplined lifestyle that denigrates the Gospel Message.   Jesus warned: "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven" (Matthew 7:21).    To do the Will of the Father, we must seek Truth and the Kingdom, and live in the manner that Jesus taught -- i.e., to be in the world and not of it!!!   At the same time Jesus is also described as our merciful High Priest (Hebrews 2:17).   Works and grace go together.   Jacob/James, the Brother of Yeshua/Jesus, wrote his epistle in harmony with Jesus' teachings and instructions.   He not only wrote about works (James 2:14-26) but addressed grace (James 4:6) and Christ's "compassionate and merciful" nature (James 5:11).   The Bible is consistent and plain in its teaching that salvation is a gift from God.   But, even though it is a gift, something we cannot earn, we are expected to obey God if we are to receive that gift.   Paul wrote, "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith," and we are "created in Christ Jesus to do good works" (Ephesians 2:8 NIV). James summarized this concept simply and concisely, telling us that "faith without works is dead" (James 2:20).

By embracing the doctrine of faith regardless of actions which was instituted by Martin Luther, the Christians have totally failed to maintain biblical standards.      While they are critical of the thinking and lifestyle of others, Christians continue to promote the doctrines of Martin Luther --
